3.5mm Auxiliary Input Kit is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Challenges with the Aux Input It plugged in quite nicely, the problem is when I went to get the Infotainment system updated when I bought the kit, they said it would be a two week wait to update the infotainment system, they were just too busy to help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You need it! This is a necessary addition if you want to play your own media. It was easy to install and works great but you need your dealer to activate it in the audio system. They charged me was $15. I would give 5 stars except I feel this accessory should be included in an already very expensive motorcycle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fills the need, but.... I purchased this plug to connect my lifetime subscription Sirius receiver to my new 2016 Road Glide. The dealer needed to program the radio to recognize it but whatever they did, my Sirius won't go into the Boom. I think the instructions need to be more specific on the programing side of things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3.5mm Auxiliary Input Kit This product did perform as desired to support my iPOD plugin on my new 2016 Ultra Limited Low. However, the instructions that were provided in the package were wrong. Instructions direct installation into a plug it would not connect to. My local Harley Dealership acquired the correct instructions and completed the installation. Installation required a computer interface to setup the infotainment system to recognize the product. Works well, once installed.

Can this cable be used to connect a Sirius XM Onyx receiver?

Can I use this cable to connect a Sirius XM Onyx receiver to my 2017 Harley TriGlide? Or can I use a standard Aux in cable - do I even need this special cable? Thank you for your assistance.

Low audio

I installed this cable. The updated part. The one where you had to de-pin and re-pin leads. It worked fine for about a week. I have a Garmin 660. Now I can barely hear the audio from the GPS.. Do you have any idea what could have happened? Yes the audio on the GPS is 100%

Once connected, does the Aux source interfere with CB?

I have a 14 Limited and use the CB when traveling in a group. Does using the Aux input interfere with CB function in any way? Other Boombox functions? Thanks, Lane

3.5MM AUXILIARY INPUT KIT ;Just installed and the instructions tell you to plug into the PA 208 Gray plug on top of the radio, but it doesn't fit

The plug guides won't line up. However it does plug in to the black plug on top of the radio as the plug guide pins do line up. Is this a mistake in the the instructions? Also it would be nice to mention that you need to have an HD dealer reprogram the radio before you can get the AUX input. Need confirmation, this will work with my new 2014 Street Glide FLHX, right?
Asked by: HDROM
Hey HDROM, Excellent question. Looking at the wiring diagrams, the CB plug leaves pin 6,7,8 open (no wires being used). This Aux kit actually uses pin 6,7, and 8. What you have to do is de-pin the wires from the aux kit and put the wires in to the same location, but on the CB plug going to the radio. Yes, you will also have to have a dealer with a DT update/change the setting on your radio. Some dealers might charge for the labor of doing the update. Hope this was helpful and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
