Unique Street Rod® bikes built for the snow at X Games Aspen

This week, plan to watch the X Games Aspen happening Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 25-28. And when you do, look for some very unique looking Street Rods® out there in the snow.

Built exclusively for this year’s Winter X Games are two unique Street Rod snow bikes. The bikes were built by Hooligan race riders Aaron and Shaun Guardado to replace the snowmobiles that previously moved competitors around the mountain. Now, you’ll see the Street Rod snow bikes shuttling competition athletes between the various venues after their runs, integrating Harley-Davidson even more deeply into the X Games.

The unique Street Rod snow bikes are based on the Roadster™ Snow Bike that was built by Slovakia’s Harley-Davidson® Banska Bystrica dealership for the 2016 Custom Kings competition. Photos and video captured from the Roadster Snow Bike became social media blockbusters, trending well-above other content and capturing the interest of thrill-seeker audiences around the world.

Check out the video of snowboarder Ben Ferguson and X Games host Jack Mitrani taking a joy ride on the snow bikes.
