Head turner – Justin O'Shea

Never shy of making a statement, fashion designer Justin O’Shea flew the flag for EV by debuting the new Harley-Davidson® LiveWire at Paris Fashion Week

It wasn’t only the latest sartorial creations that were in the spotlight at Paris Fashion Week in June – Harley-Davidson®’s new electric bike, the LiveWire™, also made a headline-grabbing cameo on the catwalk.

Ridden down the runway to rapturous applause by fashion designer Justin O’Shea, following the debut of his latest SSS World Corp collection, the LiveWire made a powerful statement, topping off a show of bold prints, tailored lines and brazen confidence.

It may have been Justin’s first collaboration with Harley-Davidson, but it was far from his first encounter with the brand. He’s had a lifelong passion for motorcycles, pooling all his savings with his dad to buy his first Harley® – a Dyna® Wide Glide® – at the age of 28, and now rocking a freshly blacked-out 2006 Night Train®.

Hitting the catwalk at the Ritz Paris Hotel on H-D®’s first electric bike was far more than just a publicity stunt to Instagram-sensation Justin. “We are all responsible for the future,” he says. “If change isn’t made, then the world will be destroyed for my son and his son.”

It’s a conscious nod towards the evolving landscape of motorcycles from a self-confessed petrol-loving H-D enthusiast. “Giving people the power of choice is amazing, and now is the time we have to become better.”
