Willie G. Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Willie G. Davidson’s lifelong passion for motorcycling was honored at a ceremony Aug. 9 where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The award adds to his long legacy that’s already a big part of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.

Willie G. received the award as a way to “honor the rider.” And, according to Myrick Robbins, executive director of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, Willie G. is the embodiment of motorcycle riding.

Willie G. is Harley-Davidson's Chief Styling Officer emeritus and brand ambassador for Harley-Davidson and the sport of motorcycling across the globe. He is the son of former Harley-Davidson president, William H. Davidson, and the grandson of one of the original founders, William A. Davidson. His passion for design and motorcycling helped shape iconic H-D motorcycles for years, including the XLCR Café Racer, the V-Rod and the Street Glide.

Congratulations to Willie G. on his Lifetime Achievement Award.
