I’m Aaron Guardado. I’m 28 and was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. Right by my side was my big brother, Shaun (SMCO #66). Today, we run Suicide Machine Company, a brand that offers apparel and builds full chromoly-framed bikes for street and competition.
We grew up racing shifter karts, which then shifted into compact cars – and then ultimately, we were on sport bikes. After a few years of road racing – and crashing – we slowed down a bit. That’s when we started to build various types of Harley-Davidson motorcycles for street and dirt use. Shortly after building a few tracker-style bikes, we were 100% dedicated to the track.
The bikes we’ve built have been all across the country for various shows. Along for the ride have been our race bikes competing in Hooligan events and AMA Pro events all over the US, including the X-Games. The constant traveling doesn’t bother us because we’re doing what we love. We’ve always had a passion for racing. We’d stay up all night finishing builds or working race bikes just so we could make it to the next event.
Throughout the 2014-2016 events we focused on the Sportster platform. This year, though, we’re focusing on the XG750 platform. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to more track time and getting our hands greasy with this bike during the Hooligan season.
