Harley-Davidson Windhoek crowned Custom King

All that Glitters is Gold

The Africa edition of the 2018 Battle of the Kings competion was dominated by a first-time entrant, new dealer Harley-Davidson Windhoek, from Nambia.

They transformed a stock H-D Forty-Eight Sportster into a class act entitled Hollywood Dream, which ultimately took this year's crown ahead of competition from much more established and experienced dealers in the region.

Dealer technician Maree Smit began by adding H-D Brass Collection components, a bespoke spinner gas cap, and an H-D Hard Candy tank colour to complete the look.

The build features complimentary custom extras such as a Spring Saddle seat in rich tan, as well as a golden-brass air filter, front spoiler, chopped rear fender, LED head lamp and matching handle bar LED indicators. Hollywood handle bars and engraved White-Wall front and rear tyres delivered the final touches.

The dealer, now in its second year of operation used the impressive build to make a strong statement of intent to the competition and to the region, that it's a custom force to be reckoned with!
