Chief Commercial Officer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company
Larry Hund is the Chief Commercial Officer of Harley-Davidson Motor Company. In this position, Hund is responsible for worldwide sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, parts and accessories, and general merchandise as well as the Harley-Davidson Museum. He was President and COO of Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) from 2009 to early 2020 and was responsible for Harley-Davidson Dealer Systems (HDDS) from 2018 to 2020. Previously, he was vice president and CFO of HDFS. During his period leading HDFS, he positioned HDFS as a strategic asset to the company and demonstrated an exceptional ability to drive profits and best in class returns while providing outstanding service to our Harley-Davidson dealer network.
Hund spent 17 years at Heller Financial and was the executive vice president and controller at the time of the company’s sale to GE Capital. He was also the CFO of a private, equity-backed start up commercial finance company prior to joining HDFS.
Hund earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Chicago’s Loyola University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Board of Managers and Executive Committee of the YMCA of Metro Chicago and Chairs the Audit and Finance Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University - Chicago.
