110th Anniversary-Silent AuctionMilwaukee (June 4, 2013) -
Dear Friends of Law Enforcement:
Harley-Davidson Police & Fleet Sales is hosting a nationwide Police Skills Competition during the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration! Officer classroom training sessions, seminars, 2014 new model year product demonstrations, Silent Auction, and sponsor displays will be held on Tuesday-Thursday, August 27-29 at the host hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn. The competition is Friday-Saturday, August 30-31 at the Summerfest grounds. This event will support Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) charity.
One of the most tragic events in our society occurs when a law enforcement Officer is unable to return home at the end of their work day. To help ease the pain of such a tragic loss, Concerns of Police Survivors offers special services to surviving family members, such as counseling for survivors, summer camps for kids, and personal escorts at memorial services. C.O.P.S. cares for those left behind. A non-profit organization, C.O.P.S. relies fully on contributions to sustain their valiant efforts.
We will be conducting a Silent Auction to benefit the National Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). Five years ago Harley-Davidson Police & Fleet Sales proudly hosted our fourth benefit with law enforcement personnel from across the nation attending. Over $25,000 was raised for C.O.P.S. to help continue their work. Many of our partners in business and in law enforcement donated auction items to make this success possible.
We would truly appreciate it if you were able to contribute items for the silent auction, whether it is one of your products or gift cards. For donated items for the Silent Auction, there will be recognition at the event and in the Fall issue of the Harley-Davidson® Motor Officer magazine. Please contact Misty Oelhafen at 414-343-8603 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or ship direct to:
Misty Oelhafen, Police Sales
We can provide pickup of the items if requested. Silent Auction items are needed by August 12th.
We sincerely hope you will be able to join us in raising funds to support C.O.P.S. Additional opportunities for sponsorships are listed here.
