Rated 2 out of 5 by Headlight Visor Ring not up to Harley Standards This part has to have some of the worst fitment I have ever seen in a Harley product. It does not fit smoothly to the existing headlight ring. It leaves a huge gap all the way around the headlight know matter how much you tighten and leaves a gap at the bottom of the ring itself. Come on Harley your better than this!!! July 5, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a great fit Installed on my '14 Ultra. I tightened the screw as tight as I could and there is a 1/4" gap at the bottom in the trim ring. This is NOT what I expect from HD parts. Every other trim accessory or part I have purchased fit perfectly. Look at someones bike that has added this before you buy it. You probably won't. Disappointed. May 19, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by One of the worst Harley parts I have used! I'm not sure if this ring fits correctly on any of the other bikes, but it fits like crap on my 2015 Ultra. It has a bug catching gap all the way around, and does not fit together at the bottom. April 20, 2016

I had one of these rings on my 06 Road King Classic and there had to be room above the headlight to slide it on. There is no such room on my 14 Ultra Limited. The only way I see this being installed is if the fairing cover is removed and the ring added.

Answer:
Hi Troy,

I installed the trim on the headlamp without removing the fairing on my 2014 FLHTCU. I'd be surprised if there were any fairing design differences on your Limited. I will say I recall it was difficult to fit the visor trim ring around the existing trim but clearance against the fairing wasn't the issue. Also, in my experience, make sure that you loosen the existing trim ring enough to accomodate the thickness of the new trim ring so the new one sits comfortably tight. I had to remove the new trim once to losen the existing a little more and that was very difficult due to sharp edges of the new trim ring. I hope this helps and good luck to you.
