I find it to hard to turn the light on. It is defiantly not a soft touch switch. you are better off with a small flash light.

My biggest disappointment was discovering that it does not come on automatically when you open the tour-pak lid like the old light did. On top of that it is very hard to switch on and off. The push button switch is in the center of the light, under a hard plastic lens. I usually have to push it three or four times to turn it on or off. I showed the local H-D dealer the problem and he gave me the standard "they are all like that" answer. (If they are "all like that" then fix or replace all of them!)

I thought this would be like the old Tourpak light and power-on when the lid is opened. However, it needs to be manually turned on/off which was very disappointing. The only benefit to this over a stick-on LED is that you'll never need batteries.

This is my second review. Guess they didn't like my first comments. I still say that the switch for this light is too hard to find in the dark. Go back to the old switch idea, open lid, light comes on. Close lid, light goes off. Trying to find a switch after the lid is open defeats the purpose of having the light. Plus, if you have riding gloves on forget it.
