Tour-Pak Luggage Interior Light is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to Turn on I find it to hard to turn the light on. It is defiantly not a soft touch switch. you are better off with a small flash light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over Priced Disappointment My biggest disappointment was discovering that it does not come on automatically when you open the tour-pak lid like the old light did. On top of that it is very hard to switch on and off. The push button switch is in the center of the light, under a hard plastic lens. I usually have to push it three or four times to turn it on or off. I showed the local H-D dealer the problem and he gave me the standard "they are all like that" answer. (If they are "all like that" then fix or replace all of them!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No auto-on. I thought this would be like the old Tourpak light and power-on when the lid is opened. However, it needs to be manually turned on/off which was very disappointing. The only benefit to this over a stick-on LED is that you'll never need batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad switch location This is my second review. Guess they didn't like my first comments. I still say that the switch for this light is too hard to find in the dark. Go back to the old switch idea, open lid, light comes on. Close lid, light goes off. Trying to find a switch after the lid is open defeats the purpose of having the light. Plus, if you have riding gloves on forget it.

Does this part fit a 2014 Tri Glide with the stock Tour Pak?

Asked by: GARA
Hi Gara, We investigated and found that while it is likely that the part will fit a Tri-Glide motorcycle, our engineers have not physically verified this fitment, which is why it is not listed in the catalog. Based on your question, our engineering staff will investigate further to see if we can add the Tri-Glide model to this fitment statement. Thank you for the very good question.

Does the included grommet mean it is necessary to drill a hole for the wire?

Asked by: Phlathd
You MAY need to drill a hole... If you purchased a tour pack for a Street Glide, and you have not had any other electrical items installed in/on it, then you will need to drill a hole. If you look at the installation instructions for the tour pack speaker boxes ( ) you can see where the hole for the grommet is at on the front lower right of the tour pack. If you have an Ultra, my guess is that the grommet has a larger hole since you are adding more wires. HD has not provided a template for this hole, or a template for the holes to add the LED light bar, but I have been told that they are in the works.

Can this be used with either of the lid mounted organizers?

Asked by: Phlathd
My organizer had a place molded into the corner for the light. I just had to cut out the oval for the lens to stick through.
