Also I am curious why this chrome swing arm/rear fork is only $579.95 and the black swingarm/rear fork (48747-07) which is supposedly for the same year motorycycle is approximatley $700.00 more.
The chrome swing arm/rear fork is listed as being made to fit a 2006 Softail Night Train but not sure whether this year and model started out having a factory 200 size tire or if it started out as having a 160/170/180 size tire and later year models had the factory 200 size tire inside this swing arm/rear fork.
The picture that accompany's the chrome swing arm part shows a 200 size tire mounted on the motorcycle.
I am also being told that the reason for the price difference between the black and the chrome is that the chrome swing arm/rear fork is made overseas. The black rear swing arm/rear for is American made.
The reason for the inquiries is because I am changing out the rear swing arm/fork of my 2005 Softail Deuce to accomodate a 200 size tire and want to make sure I get the correct part. I also want to make sure that I am not overpaying for something that could have been gotten alot cheaper. I am not wanting to cut corners, just wanting some legitimate answers.
