Rated 5 out of 5 by Wigracer Very comfortable seat!
The seat was purchased to replace my pillion pad. My wife absolutely loves this seat. If you get the pillion pad and your wife is a bigger gal, your gonna hear about it. This seat keeps her happy. Happy wife - Happy Life!! Now we go riding for hours at a time with no stops or complaints at all! Yay!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Monicajeannae So much better!
I bought a very lightly used 883L and it came with the stock seat. I took it on a 2,000 mile journey over a little over a week and wanted to cry from the discomfort of the seat. After getting back I purchased the Sundowner and I'm in love. It raised me up a little which I'm still getting used to but the previous owner put reduced reach controls anyway so the extra height was actually welcomed. It is amazingly comfortable and somehow gives me more confidence. I don't feel every tiny crack or bump in the road and thus far I am super satisfied with the product. I can see why it is one of HD's best selling products.

Really enjoy the seat. Makes for a much more comfortable ride. My wife likes it too. Only thing I would recommend is make sure you have forward controls on your bike before you purchase. They make the ride SO much better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SDavis456 Drivers portion of the seat was unsatisfactory.
I am looking for a seat for maximum comfort on my 2013 Harley 883 Iron. I do carry a passenger sometimes and wanted that portion of the seat to be very thick and comfortable. From what I could tell, this seat's passenger section was very good. My problem was from the driver's portion of the seat. I am 5' 10" and about 195 lbs. The seat was too narrow in the front which caused me to roll forward in the seat because it didn't provide enough support. It seemed fine when I was able to push myself backwards with my feet on the highway pegs, but I had to hold myself in place with pressure on my legs. This isn't what I was looking for. Even the stock seat has very good support in the front of the seat so it cradles me straight up. My problem with the stock seat is mostly the pressure I feel and discomfort during long rides. I was hoping the Sundowner seat would correct that, but I couldn't stay comfortable on it. The quality of the seat (besides the shape of the driver's portion) was absolutely top quality. I wish it would have fit me better.
