Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by doesn't quite clear the fork caps on the forty eight Great looking bars, great feel BUT they don't quite clear the fork caps on the forty eight so i had to loosen the pinch bolts on the triple tree and raise it up on the forks by about 16th of an inch. so all in all good product just a little more of a pain than i had hoped. Im wondering if these bars are wide enough so that the mirrors wont hit the tank and if you can get away with not having to change out other parts with wide enough bars.

Answer:
No worries about the mirrors, these bars are meant to be used with smaller tanks just for that reason. As for the cables, you'll need to change out the clutch, throttle/idle and brake line.
The P/Ns are:
Clutch: 37200008
Throttle/Idle: 56100019
Brake Line: 41800178

All the cables can be found at your local dealer, so head over to www.h-d.com/dealer to find a Harley® dealer near you.

Iron 883 mirrors?

For the Iron 883, will the bars allow for the stock mirrors to be mounted at the bottom?
Also, do I need to change any other stock parts? Finally, do you have any pictures of a bike with these bars?

Has anyone installed these without changing the cables on a '48? If so what are the drawbacks? Is that the only reason why they are not listed as compatible for a 48?
