I am very familiar with the toolbox. I have one on my 1944 WLA. Loved the idea of putting a gloss black one on my 2016 Fatboy S. Perfect to carry a few small items when riding stripped down. However, I also set up the bike for long distance touring and that is where I had a slight problem. I had the detachable leather saddlebags fitted prior to picking up my bike, and have just had the toolbox fitted at first service....I can no longer lock in my left-side saddlebag. I have examined the toolbox and may redrill the mounting holes on the toolbox so that I can move it forward 1/4 inch or so. Don't want to remove the toolbox, and don't want my saddlebag to fall off. Just a heads up for anyone else considering these two pieces of equipment in unison.

This tool box really adds to the appearance of the bike would like to have one for the right side also. But the parts manual doesn't show one for my FLSS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Teotihuacan Robust box but locks not keyed to match ignition key
The toolbox is a very robust design and finish. It fit on my fat boy lo perfectly and was even compatible with my passenger footboards and saddlebags. My only complaint is that I wish the locks Could be keyed to match my barrel- style ignition key.

Well finished sturdy construction and mounting hardware. Box that tool box is shipped in is designed for store display and chaffs the paint in shipment. Probably not a factor if you order the chrome box. Box is priced well below aftermarket parts houses and color also matches the bike perfectly. Plenty of room for registration and insurance papers as well as other small items.
