Rated 5 out of 5 by Nightstick just what I wanted Just put a nightstick on my switchback couldn't be happier it fit perfectly easy to install sound is what I wanted not real loud but different .I'm glad I went with the screaming eagle August 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sportster Screaming Eagle Slip ons Timely delivery. Easy pick up at dealer. Installed with no problems. Easy conversion. Look good, sound good. Good upgrade from stock mufflers. July 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Efficiency I combined these slip-ons with a stage one upgrade and mapping for a 6,000 mile trip around the USA. Bike breathes much better and runs much cooler. I was concerned only with engine efficiency but was surprisingly pleased with the tone of these pipes. None of that obnoxious metallic echo I hear in many other pipes. (Reminds me of the old Chevy glasspacks.) Installation was easy. Gaskets and instructions were included. Just use care to put the proper muffler on the proper pipe. (That is not mentioned in the instruction sheet.) June 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Above my expectations I completed my stage 1 upgrade with these slip-ons, SE air and the Harley Stage 1 download. HP for the $ this seems to be the best option if you don't plan to go to Stage 2. This setup runs ~$450 less than getting a tuner and dyno yet seems to yield about 90% of the benefits. If you plan on Stage 2 or higher in the future get a tuner. The only downside to this whole situation for myself is that the setup is legal and Harley should put it on the bikes to start with. Overall I'm very pleased with the results. July 20, 2015

Answer:
Upgrading your mufflers and adding an Air Cleaner will definitely increase performance on your XL. You will have to have your dealer do a re-cal once everything has been installed.

Answer:
Hi RedneckDAE,

If you are referring to P/N 65927-00, which is Item #1 on the last page of the Sportster Accessory Slip-On Muffler Kit Instruction Sheet, you can purchase the gasket at your local dealership.

Thank you for your question.
