Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark1952 Old school look
I had these put on our 2014 Ultra limited for the Old School Look and the protection of the saddlebags. Also if I would not fasten the bags back on securely the guard rails would keep the bags from falling off the bike. I also added the tour pack rail system and the extra turn/run/stop lights to the saddlebags for a complete package that looks good and provides extra lighting during the day or night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wegrob Installation Instructions Revision Needed
I first looked at the installation instruction on this website prior to purchasing these guard rails. Installation looked pretty easy. Then I bought them and tried every conceivable angle to install them according to the provided instructions only to achieve utter failure. I went back to the dealer to see if they had suggestions. I was looking at $100-$200 worth of shop time when one of my favorite parts guys looked online and suggested removing the front clamp on the rails like the other reviews suggested. Installed both rails in less than an hour!
You'll need a good set of star sockets and it will help if you have at least a 6" socket extension, as your work area is limited once you put the rails on and try to tighten the bolts.
Harley Davidson....please revise your installation instructions to reflect this. I was so frustrated at first I nearly returned them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SKIHOG Beautiful updated Rushmore look plus install tip
First of all these new saddlebag rails match the updated look of your Rushmore touring bike. Very shuttle and still classic look.
I do agree with a prior post that installation requires the disassembly of the rail in order to fit through and around the fender frames. All this requires is the removal of 2 Allen head socket screws however you do need to be aware these screws appear to have been set with a loo title screw set.
Very glad this was one of the first addition to my 2014 FLHTCU.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martin Installation Instructions
This installation was fairly straight forward, there was however one step omitted from the instructions. In order to get the rails to feed through the bracket you must remove the end off the saddlebag guards, it is as simple as removing 2 allen head set screws and taking the end off. Once you feed the guards through, screw the end back on and your troubles are over. In all this product took less than 30 minutes to install. Beautiful fit and finish.
