This bag fits great on my 2016 FLHR. This is the only Harley Branded luggage I could find that fits over the over-sized studded backrest that added to the bike. The backrest fill up the entire spandex mounting strap so there is no play. I'm not a floorboard scraper kind of rider, so possibly could be issues if you are taking hairpin corners at high speeds. I have the following equipment on my 2016 Road King:
52709-97C back rest
53472-09A Detachable Luggage Rack
52627-09A Passenger sissy bar
I hope this helps.

The wife and I spent week on the road with this bag and was able to easily fit two half helmets, two sets of chaps and two Jackets, with room to spare for all our souvenirs. The side pockets easily hold two water bottles each. The front pocket is great for extra bungee net, gloves, face mask and reflective belts. The over sissy bar and strap system, skeptical at first, but was really surprised how rock solid it held on our street glide sissy bar rack combination, no movement at all, no extra straps needed. The retractable handle is long enough to stack two saddle bag liners on top of the bag, making stops for the night a snap, unclip the bag, pull your saddle bags and in one trip your in your hotel room. If the bag has a down side its the price. Don't let the price scare you, I purchased several other brands, only to keep searching for a bag like this, save yourself some money, other bags dont compare!.

Rated 1 out of 5 by gromanes Great bag - bad mounting
I did buy the bag online and could not check the features.
While it is big enough for all you need for a weeks or so ride, the mounting on the bike is useless. The two thin straps which should fix it are good enough to hold it on a car seat but not on a motorbike. The bag is sliding for left to right at every turn. It takes a couple of extra fixing belts to hold it - and so the look is ruined when riding. What was the product mangager thinking when desiging this?
Great bag - bad function.

I tie down the bag behind the bike's backrest. This bag's internal size is ideal for a rider making a long day trip or staying at a hotel for a few nights. The bag holds 1-2 changes of summer clothes and personal gear. If riding two up, recommend consider a soft luggage design with tie-down flexibility for the tour pack lid or other locations. Bag construction is superb. Recommended!
