Rated 4 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lifetime Map updates It seem's they are skirting any question regarding lifetime maps. Well if you were wondering the answer is NO. Not unlike any Garmin without the LM suffix once the warrantee runs out it's gonna cost you another 90 smackers for a lifetime map subscription. December 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great GPS The Zumo 660 was a great buy and is really useful, although I don't really like the look on my bike. So easy to upload routes to the unit. August 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great GPS but pricey Excellent feature filled water resistant GPS with the Harley dealer database built in. Easy to use, even with gloves on. Paired with the interrupt module and the fixed fairing mount, makes for a clean install with all the wiring inside the fairing. July 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great GPS I purchased this GPS for my Heritage. works like a champ. only drawback is that with the louder Vance & Hines slip on mufflers on my bike, I can't hear the voice commands unless I'm going slow in town. You just have to look at the screen to follow the route. Not that big a deal. April 25, 2014

Answer:
I checked with Garmin, who provides the maps for the Harley GPS, and Korea is not supported.
There may be a third party software available, but not that I can find here in the US.
If you find a third party supplier use the ZUMO 660 as the Garmin unit number for compatibility.

Can someone please tell me what each of the cables are used for on the hardwired motorcycle mount kit? I could not find anything describing what each cable is for ... I specifically want to know what the mini USB is used for ...

Answer:
Hi Bradley - I believe that the mini USB connector is used if you wanted to attach to a PC to update the maps or languages available. Not sure how practical that is since you would have to leave that connector exposed or easily accessible. I just remove the GPS and connect it directly to my PC with a standard cable to update the maps or any other items needed.

If you are using the Navigation Interface Module (NIM), then that interface may have additional connectors depending on what other modules you may have installed - iPod Interface, etc. So there could be connectors that are unused. I taped the ones I did not use to ensure they kept dry.

Answer:
Not sure I understand your question, but let me take a stab and see if I hit it.

The Mini USB, inside the back cover, is used for connecting to your computer, 1 to upload routes from the Harley ride planer, (I usually generate about 20+ rides during the winter and upload them to my GPS as I am ready to ride them in the summer) and 2, it also is an optional charging port if you want to power up when the cover is off. typically I only use this to check uploads or to clean out completed rides, but I know one of my buddies uses it to charge the unit at night.

Wires in the harness, I'm not technician, so I can't detail each color of wire, but I do know that mine and all my friends found there are two audio outputs that no one in our group use, but is for connection to the radio and or headphones, hard wired. These both exit the faring at the base of the right handlebar.
The provided wire harness is different for the 660 and the 665, because one has extra wired connections for the optional weather and satellite radio.
Hope I gave you what you need.

Answer:
There is a separate Road Tech Navigation Interface Module kit that will connect into the stock HD radio so that directions can be heard over your speakers or wired headsets. Check the related products I listed and choose which mounting option works best for you. The position of the speaker switch will direct where instructions are heard. I keep mine in the center position for normal speaker operation.

I used the Road Tech zumo 660 & 665 Fairing Mount Kit along with the
Road Tech Navigation Interface Module on my 2011 Limited.

Answer:
A lot depends on how you have it mounted/wired, but the simple answer is two part:
1, I have my unit linked by Bluetooth to my Bluetooth phone headset and:
2, I have also used the audio out to my AUX in to hear it. The jack opening is on the side edge of the unit and connects with a waterproof audio patch cord provided with the unit.

Because I normally pre-plan my routes thru the HOG ride planner, I don't usually care about the audio directions, using the video for 99.9% of all my needs. ( I like the screen showing, campus direction, distance to my goal, speed, and time to destination all showing along with the directions.)

Answer:
You have to get one of the bike mounts, this package has the cradle which mounts to either the bat wing fairing mount or the handle bar mount. I have two bikes and each bike uses a different style. On my 2003 Ultra Classic I also have the escort radar detector that HD sold back then so the fairing mount was not going to work, the radar took that spot. My 2010 I used the fairing mount to keep it more in the line of sight, I like it better. On all bikes the gps has a audio out jack that can be plugged into the stereo aux jack on your bike. Run the cord inside the fairing and its much less noticeable, works great. Used mine on 50K worth of trips and it has never let me down. I also use the music player with an 8GB memory card that is fantastic. You can listen to music and use the gps at the same time.
