Yes, I know they say it doesn't work. It's a tight fit, but it does. Depending on how sloppy your welds are at the top of your left downtube, it may not fit at all. I've seen one that completely clears the lower fairing; on mine it just touches. It may screw the paint up there, but I'll never see it, as it's facing the engine. Someday I may pull it off and grind down the flange a bit so it clears.
This is a brilliant drink holder. It's located perfectly so that it's an easy reach down for my drink. At speed, the drinks don't heat up any more than they would just sitting in the sun. With an insulated bottle like a Hydro Flask, they won't heat up at all.
The only downside is that I had to re-train my left foot to keep my leg from hitting it. Really only an issue when starting off from a stop.

Perfect fit for my Street Glide. Took a while to find something that looks good but is quite functional and unique. Ergonomically, it is a great fit.

I actually thought the design would get in the way of shifting gears, But it turns out that I forget that it's there sometimes. It's located in a good location. I use to have a drink holder on my handle bar, but this location works better for me. It's not in the way when I fuel, Loctite (lock tight) has kept things in place.

Could not put it in a location that I didn't bump with my leg.
If you set it too high the drink rubs the tank.
If you set it too low you hit it.
