7V Recumbant Heated Soft Shell Jacket is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice jacket Fits good, keeps me warm, looks good. The switch to turn it on and off is a little tricky just like the 12V gear, but once you learn the trick it's not to bad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Battery operated heated jacket Battery life is very short on the high setting ! Jackets fits perfect For cooler weather it is ok but for extreme cold not so good ! A little warmth is better than none ! But for the money I would Suggest the actual plug in !

Where can I buy a spare battery and charger?

I recently purchased this jacket at my local Harley shop (impulse buy) and would like to keep a spare battery and charger at work just in case. Any idea where I can buy these separately? I can't seem to find them online anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the correct replacement is the Brookstone battery #866198. Can't believe you buy a $250 jacket and Harley doesn't even offer a replacement battery.

Does the jacket have a themostat to control the temperature and how long will the battery last

Is there a way to regulate the temperature? How can the battery be charged? Is there a cigarette option? There should be a way to charge the battery from the bike

I just purchased this jacket 4 days ago at my local dealer. The jacket has a thermostat in a sense. It has four different settings that are controlled by the battery pack 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. If I can find my owners manual for it I will post them but max run time on highest setting is 4 or 5hrs. The battery is about the size of a pack of gum about 1inch thick. Also it has no visible wires the pack goes into a special pouch on the left pocket of the jacket. The jacket also has vents underneath the armpits that zip up or down as well. This is on a 3x3 Sticky for size comparison. The battery is charged using a 110volt outlet and takes a few hours to achieve a full charge.
