Rated 1.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Last only so long BUT its 1 year waranteed! Needed a second bulb after 10 months BUT if you read the features above it has a 1 year warranty. HD replaced bulb, paid to install. Opened a case to corporate and they authorized warranty. Credited entire bill! Thank you Harley September 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not last long Only had them for one year for 5,000 miles and the low beam burned out one of my two headlights on my 2013 Roadglide. For the price, you would think that they would last longer. From what I can see from the other reviews, it seems that I am not the only one that this has happened to, won't be buying these from Harley again, seems aftermarket is the way to go for performance bulbs. Answer:
It depends on the bike model you ride as well as the type of headlight/trim. But typically, there should be a screw to loosen and then the bulb can be removed. It's recommended to cover the front fender, although the lights are wired to a certain length not to be able to touch the fender. Once the back of the light is exposed the bulb with be accessible.

Is this a "PIA" bulb?

I bought a new PIA bulb from the dealership last fall. At that time the only daymaker headlamp HD offered was black, and I didn't like the look. The salesman said this bulb would be brighter and better. I noticed very little additional brightness from the OEM bulb, and like the others have mentioned here, the low beam burned out in about 8-9 months. I put the OEM bulb back in and will probably buy the silver daymaker bulb HD is now offering. I think HD needs to look into this issue, as someone else mentioned, it's no fun driving at night without the low beam.

Answer:
Hi Darren. This bulb is Halogen and the rated life is about 350 hours. You may want to check in with your local dealer to see if you have a warrantable issue with the bulb that you purchased. Warranty covers it for a year.
