Rated 4 out of 5 by MarcM Great Fall/Autumn jacket, but not for winter
I received this jacket as a gift and honestly would not have purchased it based on personal style/jacket appearance. With that being said, I do enjoy this jacket. It is comfortable, warm, and with the combination of the jacket and hoodie, make for a great fall weather jacket.
My first ride with this jacket was from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Stuttgart, Germany (almost 4 hours with stops) across back roads, shady areas, and hilly terrain. The weather was low 50's/high 40's. I wore an underarmor style long sleeve with a t-shirt over top and this jacket. I also wore jeans and chaps. I ride a '14 Softail, no wind screen. I was actually a bit too warm and wished I didn't put on the underarmor. I would wear this on a short winter commute in the high 30's, but would go a size larger in the jacket so I could wear a sweater or pullover too. I am 5'7, 160 and a medium fits nice with nothing under it. A large would allow for easy reach in the sleeves and more room underneath if you are cash strapped and can't afford leather and need a winter coat to ride in.
The color is grey with hints of dark green and black flecks. It is an attractive color. The jacket has no real venting, unless you leave the two front chest pockets open. The jacket almost feels like denim, but isn't, and is actually a bit softer yet tighter knit for less wind seepage. The sleeve zippers have a hard time closing fully when zipped over a pair of gloves to stay warm. My biggest complaint about this jacket is the neck snap. It is heavy dual location snap is hard to snap and is right on your adams apple. When the wind is stronger at fast speeds, it presses and becomes uncomfortable so I leave it undone. My second major flaw with this jacket is when you zip the hoodie inside of the jacket, you lose access to the inside pockets. (see pics# I ride with my IPod shuffle and an inside pocket is a must. Maybe a pocket inside the hoodie would solve this issue.
The hoodie is standard HD style, zipper front, that is capable of being zipped into the jacket itself as well as being secured by small elastic loop fasteners. #see pic) These are located: end of each sleeve to keep them down, at the nape of the neck where a coat loop hangs, along your sides about 3/4 way down and the last is bottom center of the jacket. These seem cheap by HD standard, and I wager that anyone who removes this frequently will either lose a button from the jacket or the elastic will rip along the seam of the hoodie. The inside of the hoodie is super soft and very comfortable.
Overall, I really like this and I am happy it was purchased for me. It is well worth it's cost, again, especially if you can't afford leather.

I wasn't expecting this perfect fit. The jacket is made of a very durable material and it will keep you warm. Love the looks and the style. I will, definitely, get another one when this one is retired.

I bought this jacket in may and I love it. The versatility of it makes for great transitions based on weather. For riding, just the hoodie is great for summer rides where it's still chilly in the morning, and just the outer jacket is perfect for longer rides for wind and sun protection. Combining the two together is comfortable down to the lower 50's. The looks are good for casual wear and built well enough for medium protection for riding. Love this jacket

I live in Central Florida and wanted something I could wear year-round. This setup is ideal. The jacket by itself is perfect for hotter days. It's not leather, so if breathes well. Colder months I put the hoodie that comes with it in and it's perfect for the cold weather too. Fits great and I love the style of it. The pictures on this site don't do it justice. Go see it in person. I've gotten many compliments on it. I am 6'2" 225lbs and it's a great fit. I probably should have went for the XL tall, to get a little more length in the arms. But I like the fit just fine.
