Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Oil Drain Container This oil drain container should come with some simple instructions. I did not open the plug in the top corner of the drain pan near the filter drain area (one of 3 plugs) to let the air and vacuum out of the pan. Consequently when the oil came rushing out of my bike it quickly filled the shallow pan and overflowed onto the floor with the center drain plug removed. Once I discovered that must be what the corner drain plug was for and unscrewed the plug the oil entered the oil pan quicker but by that time the oil was everywhere. The plan is constructed well but it is pricey. I bought it with the idea that it would quicken the oil drain process and make the job less messy. Overall it is shallow and fits under the bike well but nowhere does it mention on the label it came with what the additional plug opening was for. It maybe obvious to some but unless there is some warning or instruction about opening the plug for venting and you don't open it up before draining your oil you are in for a big surprise and mess. Also, do not let your bikes drain plug fall onto the pan as it will roll to the center drain opening of the pan which is small and contribute to the slow draining. October 31, 2013
