No need for new cables but it looks like you're gonna need 10" Switch Wire Extensions P/N 70234-07 and 6" Turn Signal Wire Extensions P/N 72137-03.

Answer: 
To install these mini-apes you'll need 10" switch wire extensions P/N 70234-07 and 6" turn signal wire extensions P/N 72137-03. All the lines and cables need to be changed out, too.

Answer: 
For an '11 1200X you'll also need all new clutch, throttle and idle cables as well as brake lines. No need for turn signal wire extensions on the Forty-Eight though, those come stock.
