Note

Some Harley-Davidson® luggage is made of leather. Fine leathers or other natural materials WILL gain "character," such as wrinkles or wear, with age. This is normal. A fine, aged patina and character wrinkles are a sign of the extremely high quality materials used to construct your luggage. The appearance of scars or marks on the leather are a result of using natural leather panels and should not be thought of as an imperfection. Locking Leather Rigid Saddlebags is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bags I got these for my bike because I wanted something secure to leave my jacket in while at work. The locks are solid and open with ease. I would give 5 stars but the price is just crazy. For me they were worth is since it was very easy to install and fit was right on. I can throw my jacket and gloves in one while my wife does the same in the other while we are off the bike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I have these bags on my 2015 Harley Davidson Fatboy. These bags are extremely small, not much can go in them. The seams where these bags are joined together do not hold up well, I have had to use gorilla glue to repair the seam on one of my bags. The overall craftsmanship is shoddy, from the cheap leather used over the blow molded core, to the flimsy hinges that join the lid and bag together. These bags in no way are worth the $799.95 paid for them. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. For half the price you can get better quality saddlebags from viking bags. Or for a little more money you can go with saddlemen bags or mustang bags. I wouldn't want these bags if they were free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product At $800 I was concerned about getting the bang for my buck, but compared to other saddlebags on the market at this time these are second to none in my opinion. I did a lot of research before spending that kind of money compared to other, less pricey products that are available. If you are considering getting soft leather saddlebags ($300-$400) but have the extra cash, I would recommend going with these. The locking mechanism plus the stylish look were worth the price. I have them on my '03 Fatboy and have no complaints. I bought the spacer kit as well as recommended by my local Harley dealer, and they fit perfectly with my screaming eagle exhaust. Very easy installation

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great-looking bags; smaller than expected The bags look great on my '12 Fat Boy. Fairly easy to install without spacers; no need to move the rear turn signals. They're well-made; solid construction. For the price I would've expected a bit more carrying capacity though - both weight and volume (hence 4 stars).

I have a 2012 Fat Boy Lo with screaming eagle pipes. Will these work with the new pipes?

It says what comes in box is left and right bags. Mounting hardware, so does that mean this is a pair?

Asked by: ArmyVet7
Hey ArmyVet7, Yes, this is for the pair. You can see all the content of this item in the instruction sheet, page 6. Thank you

LOCKING LEATHER RIGID SADDLEBAGS
Asked by: Guipiloto

can this be used with detachable mounting? I would also like to keep my existing detachable back rest.

I have a 2005 fxstsi with existing detachable back rest. I would like to make something resembling the convertable bike.
Asked by: Robert836
Hey Robert836, Yes, you can install these saddlebags and keep your existing detachable backrest. You will need to replace the docking hardware with a different docking hardware kit (assuming you don't currently have saddlebags). You will need Docking Hardware Kit P/N 53930-03A. You should be good with turn signals since you already relocated for the detachable backrest.
