Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by More Light Have now put this on my and my wife's Fat Boys. Should be standard on all bikes. Easy to install. Gives noticeably more light when in high beam mode. January 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Little Upgrade I installed this on my '08 Heritage. Installation was a breeze and it works as advertised. Being able to run my auxiliary lights with my Daylighter high beam is definitely an improvement when night riding. May 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Great part easy to install on a heritage softail. Really does add alot more light on the road at night. This part should come on every bike from the factory. A must have if you do alot of night riding. April 8, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by *FLSTN: Simple Installation yields better visibility This wiring harness was installed within 5 minutes on my 2013 FLSTN Soft-Tail Deluxe. *However, on my model- not all of the connections were needed as listed in the instructions. As noted on step #4, item 32A (as noted on the associated diagram) is listed as a "fender lamp connector". On my cycle, this connector was indeed located under the LEFT Front portion of the fuel tank. However, it was NOT connected, but hanging free. Thus, only ONE of the two harness wires remaining(very obvious) can be connected. The larger of the two, remaining connectors has NO purpose and was wrapped up and tucked away. After my install, I proceeded to the "Return to Service" section and tested all the lights/controls, everything worked perfectly. Indeed, I believe this should be a standard feature on the cycles with auxiliary lights. This wire harness allows for continuous use of the auxiliary lights when operating the headlights in either Low or High- Beam modes. This is a very effective way to obtain better visibility while driving at night, as well as becoming more visible to others while driving during the day. August 17, 2015

I picked one of these up while holidaying in Arizona. Part number 69200442. The dealer told me it would work and on the web page is says it will also. I have a 2001 Road King Classic. The instructions say to cut the common black wire and de-pin it from 109B socket housing. I was unable to de-pin it. I did cut the wire and spliced in the black wire to the harness. Since the wire is cut it should not be doing anything. I plugged it all in but the lights work the same. When I turn on the brights the auxiliary lights turn off, There is no fender tip light on my bike and never was. I appreciate any help as we lost our dealer here and it is a two days ride to one. So I am on my own working on this. I do own a 2012 Ultra limited that I got the same type harness for and works great. It is different part number for that bike and plugs in different. It is a bit confusing as on the Canadian HD web page the harness that I got for my Ultra comes up with this part number but on the United States it appears to have the same harness attached to this part number that I picked up and installed.

Hello Dewey867,

Thanks for asking your question. I see you’re visiting us from outside of the United States. Welcome! Because motorcycle models in other countries have different wiring and components, our U.S. support team is unable to advise on installation or fitment related questions. Please consult with the experts at your local H-D dealership. Here’s a link to find a dealer near you: www.h-d.com/dealer.

Thank You!

Answer:
Hello Dufuss!

You will need the entire Independent Control Auxiliary Lamp Wire Harness Kit! The installation instructions are included on USA H-D; however, I have included ONLY the "Return To Service" instructions as to how the AUX lights will work.

Test the operation of the auxiliary lamps:

a. Turn the ignition key switch to IGNITION, but do not
start the motorcycle. The low beam headlamp should
turn ON.
b. Operate the auxiliary lamp switch ON and OFF. The
auxiliary lamps should turn ON and OFF with switch
operation.
c. Toggle the headlamp dimmer switch on the left
handlebar control to HI to activate the high beam.
Operate the auxiliary lamp switch ON and OFF. The
auxiliary lamps should turn ON and OFF with switch
operation.
d. Turn the ignition key switch to ACCESSORY. The
headlamp should turn OFF. Operate the auxiliary
lamp switch ON and OFF. The auxiliary lamps should
turn ON and OFF with switch operation.
e. Turn the ignition key switch to OFF. Operate the
auxiliary lamp switch ON and OFF. The auxiliary
lamps should not illuminate.

Hope this helps!
