Rated 5 out of 5 by legs290 Small but Powerful
After washing my cycle a few times, I began to understand why I saw others using leaf blowers to dry their cycles. Several members at a HOG meeting recommended this item and it works great. The air is filtered and heated (slightly). The attachments and hose allow you to direct and adjust the strength of the airflow. The unit is small and light but powerful enough to get the water drops off the engine fins and out of the nooks and crannies which does cut the drying time significantly.

Does the job it's intended for. Took a little longer than I thought, but after some more uses, time should improve. Especially useful for those hard to reach places you can't dry with a towel and the water will drip from.

When I first saw the Hog Blaster in the HD catalog a year or so ago I just chuckled a bit and thought it was a waste-of-money gimmick. "How hard is it to dry a motorcycle" I said to myself. Fast-forward a year and my Harley-riding neighbor bought one for his CVO Breakout; BTW, his bike always looks showroom new. I was chatting with him one day while he was washing his bike and when he pulled out the Hog Blaster I just smiled to myself. After watching him dry his spoke wheels, engine fins, rocker box, starter, sprocket, brakes, handlebars and switches in about 3 minutes with no subsequent drips or streaks I changed my opinion rather quickly.
He let me borrow it to dry off my FLHXS the following week and I was immediately sold. It made quick work of the inner faring, switches, engine and wheels, which had previously always suffered from streaks by drips. I ordered a Hog Blaster that same day.
The first time I used my own Blaster I chuckled to myself again, but this time thought about how smart I was to learn a new trick to save time and effort.
The Hog Blaster is lightweight, powerful, flexible and the attachments let you control the velocity of air and vector the stream to best suit your needs -- pinpoint or flat. If you love spending hours drying and re-drying your motorcycle then the Hog Blaster is probably not for you. However, if you want to get the job done faster and begin riding sooner, I recommend you consider a Blaster. I am really happy I took the plunge. Check out "Hog Blaster" on YouTube if you want to see one in action.
