It is a hammock seat so rider saddle can be up to 2 inches taller than stock. People do your research!!! before you purchase anything. The heat works great on cold days but can barely feel it on hot days. It is great for relaxation of your ass/leg muscles on those long rides. It does help. It does make bumps more tolerable over stock seat. Better shocks next? We loved it so much when it was 29 degrees, that we are going to order the heated backrest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CWA107 Noticably taller than my stock seat
This seat put my eyes over the wind screen. It was noticeably taller than the seat I demo'd. Turned out I demo'd a seat for 2013's and lower. When this seat came in. Wow, Way too high. Had to send it back. Then my dealer ordered the older version of the Hammock we used on the demo. It's better, but still taller than my stock seat. And, less heat than the demo seat. I road for 2 hours on high and never felt a need to turn it down. On the demo seat, after 45 minutes, I had to switch to low
First: Why would Harley offer heated seats Taller than stock. Considering how much riders pay to lower their bikes. It's kind of a big concern.
Second, there seems to be a variation in how hot these seats get. Maybe some kind of quality control issue.
At this point, I've tried the Sun Ray (WAY TOO TALL#, the Hammock that's suppose to work on my 2014 Ultra #Still TOO TALL#, and the older Hammock #closer to stock but still taller). All the new seats never got hot enough for me. With the exception of a demo seat that got hot enough to make we want to switch to low after 40 minutes.
I'll try to get my money back from my dealer. Taller and less heat is not what I was looking for.
I feel bad for my dealer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by daniel54 Nice upgrade
I am 60 years old and riding a 2014 Ultra Limited. Most of the time, my wife is with me. She wanted a heated seat, so we got the Harley Hammock. The shape is quite different from the stock seat, with less support in the lumbar area. Now I am thinking about adding the driver backrest. The heat feature works well, and I think the bike rides noticeably better, particularly over the more harsh bumps. Considering the relatively short wheel travel on the rear suspension (a spec that Harley no longer publishes), this is a nice upgrade. My inseam is 29", so the reach to the ground was a concern, but I don't notice much of a difference. My wife says the stock seat is softer and more comfortable for her, but she likes the Hammock, and the heat is a great feature when you need it.
