I recently purchased this FXRG leather jacket for myself, I was searching for a good Leather that would keep me dry, safe and warm. I already own a good textile jacket, with 3 layers, but it was time to purchase my "lifetime" leather. I did a lot of research, looked at many different styles and brands, and my husband has had his FXRG for over 10 years, and he loves it! its all he wears, rain or shine! I received my jacket last week, and my only complaint is the description online is not clear about something that I am pretty upset about....This Jacket DOES NOT come with the BACK ARMOR! it does have included the shoulder and elbow armor...(my husband's came with all the armor) so I didnt think to make sure of this, In the "Features" of this coat, it says ARMOR INCLUDED-YES. but they do not tell you that it is not...I feel that for $650.00 it should include all the armor! It is the most expensive leather I have found, and it does meet my expectations, except for this! All in all, a really good coat. they could've made the end of the arm opening a bit bigger. I have to leave the cuffs unzipped pretty much all the time.. but other than that, keeps me warm, dry and is very comfortable!!!! Love my Leather! Hope I dont have to buy the back armor...:) Safe Riding Everyone!

In September I purchased a set of FXRG gear. Contrary to the product description is it quite heavy. I wore it on a trip from Oregon to Reno NV and encountered about 3 hours of steady driving rain and I did remain dry. I was on a two lane highway but moving fairly fast so most of the "wet" came from above when i had to slow down or stop. When it was not raining there were alot of layer adjustments to make but that is part of the ride experience. A few weeks later I rode in heavy rain again on a congested highway...slower... I got a lot of road water kicked up at me from traffic. I did get a rather wet bum and wet arms. Was it the gear? was it the situation? I don't know. I am now buying the fabric version of the wet gear and hoping for a good result. I will continue to wear this gear when I can drive at a reasonable speed.

Never get cold and has spines in all the right places. I hope never to hit the pavement again, but if I do this jacket will certainly help. Looks good too. Worth the extra bucks.
