Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great, Feels Great. I am really glad I put these on my Fat Boy. I had floor boards and just could not get use to them. This forward control kit when on without a hitch and I am sooooo much more comfortable now.

Are this forward controls fit my 2013 softail slim???

Asked by: RickyHDslim

Will the FL forward control kit fit on my 2012 slim?

At 6'5" the boards are way too close so I can kiss my knees. Need to streatch it out some to be safe.
Asked by: longrangebob
Hello Longrangebob, Unfortunately, PN 33909-08A will not fit on your 2012 FLS. We do not currently offer any extended reach kits for your model. Thank you!

Are there any photos of these installed on a Heritage taken from the side?

It would help to establish exactly where our feet will sit on the pegs. The angle of the existing photos does no good at all.
Asked by: Nick1
Hi Nick1, I'm sorry, but we do not have additional photos for this kit. The only thing I can recommend is to look at a FX Softail model with the stock forward controls. Considering this kit is the exact same thing on the FX Softail models and the mounting points will be the same, that will be your best option at this time. I attached a photo of a 2015 FXSB and FLSTC so you can sort of get an idea. Hope this helps and sorry we could not do more to assist. Thank you

33909-08 - FL forward controls

Will forward control 33909-08 fit a FLSTSE3 2012 Softail Convertible ? I also have an engine gurad fitted. Do I need to remove this or will it fix with an engine guard ? parts 42508-11BHP & 33683-07A are gloss black. Is there a kit with chrome parts for a FLSTSE3 ? Regards Mark
Asked by: Drapes
Looks like the FL Forward Controls aren't validated to fit the '12 FLSTSE3. As for the other two part numbers, these are service parts that your local dealer can help identify and let you know if there are other options available,

Why is this not an option for the Fat Boy Lo

My 2010 FB Lo appears to be the same up front as a straight FB. Why does this kit not fit the Lo? I've been told that it will fit but not recommended due to lower ground clearance on the Lo?
Asked by: toptox
i've read that it is not recommended for the low because of the lowered ride height as well. but it will fit.
