Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks great fits great Looks great fits great. Super light you almost forget its there and give a full field of vision. April 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Looks good, but... This helmet is a HD branded bell custom 500 which is a very nice low profile helmet. I was very disappointed with the finish. The scallop design is a lacquered on sticker. The outline bubble of the sticker is visible. I had expected it to be pin striping. I wish Harley had gone the extra step and actually have the helmet pin strip by an artist. That's what true HD fans deserve. The helmet is great but, I recommend waiting for the release of new 2014 bell custom 500 artist series instead. Finally, the description is incorrect, this helmet does not have a pull-down visor. Hey, Tomas! Good observation. This helmet does not come with a pull-down visor. We recently noticed this error and updated the product description accordingly. Sorry about the mix up. Thanks for your feedback.

Low-profile helmet?

Bell has a new Custom 500 that sits low on the head so the rider doesn't get a Marvin-the-Martian look. Is this new HD helmet based on Bell's 2014 Custom 500 helmet? Also, is the Motor Company planning to come up with some cool designs? I wouldn't mind buying a Captain America low-profile helmet... though more Steve Rogers, less Wyatt, if you know what I mean.

Answer:
Hey, AngelC! Thanks for your question. I agree this is a slick new helmet and also prefer not to look like a martian or like the dude in Spaceballs (the movie). This helmet may give you the look you're going for. But I suggest you head over to your local dealership to try one one first, just be sure you dig the fit: www.h-d.com/dealer.

We also have two new awesome designs that are sure to turn heads. Be sure to check out the "Slither" and "Black Diamond" 3/4 Helmets. These are totally fresh new designs so our stock online may be limited...they're just hitting the shelves now.
