Rated 5 out of 5 by All I keep saying is WOW If you ride at night, and are not happy with your stock light, this is a must upgrade. The low beam (the Top half) is excellent. It lights the night up with its almost pure white light. The High beam cuts even further like a wide beam spot light, allowing you to see clearly down the road. I just can't get over how this light has changed my night time driving. This light should have come standard on the FLHXS, It is worth every penny! The Motor Company hit a home run! One added note, I have a 2014 FLHXS and needed to buy Part Number: 69200897 ( LED Headlamp Wiring Harness ) in order for it to work. so be prepared to add $ 19.95 more, still well worth it! Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME LIGHT It's been a while since I installed this light. Unbelievable how much difference it and the auxiliary lights make. Very happy. I only have one question. It has a extra wire on the back which my Deluxe had no connection for. Wish somebody could answer that one. I just taped it off and everything works. December 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by They Should Be Stock On Every Bike! The first thing I bought for my FLHRSE5 was the Day Maker Headlight and the Day Maker passing lights. These will unquestionably save lives and are worth every penny! I would bet that the 2015 bikes will have them as standard, if not an option. BE HEARD.....BE SEEN! September 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awsome Light One of the best bangs for your buck. Simple plug & play install with no special tools or extra parts required. When properly aimed it provides pure white light that reaches about 30% further than halogen lighting without blinding oncoming vehicles. To me.....this new style light is much cleaner looking than the other daymaker. I also bought the matching side lamps for my Heritage Softail, same simple install, You wont be disappointed !!!! Answer:
I was comparing mine to the old style Daymaker last night, the old style has more of a forward projected light while the new Daymaker has the same forward lighting but also has side lighting so you can see objects on the side of road or side walks etc. It's probably a personal preference but the new style just has a cleaner look versus the old style.
