Daymaker™ Reflector LED Lamps offer superior night-time performance in a traditionally styled headlamp. These brilliant LED lamps produce a bright-white beam that lights up the surroundings and draws the attention of surrounding traffic. The natural daylight lamp color is easy on your eyes and is tuned to enhance and amplify the reflective character of highway signs and lane markers.

  • Powerful low-beam illuminates the top half of the lamp to produce a wide pool of general lighting and remains illuminated at all times
  • High-beam adds focused light from the lower section to add punch down the middle of the lane
  • Long-life solid-state LED lamps are housed in sealed shock and vibration-resistant lamp assemblies that mount into the existing light housing
  • Installation is simple, and the plug-in lamps require no external ballast or complicated rewiring
  • Lamps are DOT and ECE approved
  • 7" Headlamp

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bright light and good spread I installed this headlamp after having tried the 7" Daymaker LED Headlamp PN 67700243 wich was disappointing. With its reflector this headlamp gives a better spread and a less sharp cut off. Another advantage is the low beam staying on with the high beam, giving better close lighting which is appreciated specially in curves. September 8, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Badlights 2015 headlights are called DAYMAKERS they should be called WIDOWMAKERS. March 16, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for dark and winding roads. I really liked this light at first, but then I rode on mountain roads at night. The sharp horizontal cutoff when leaned into tight curves on dark roads leaves road ahead nothing but a black void. I would only recommend this light if you only ride city streets and interstates. Rated 5 out of 5 by How Much Is It Worth To See and Be Seen? Wow. They don't give these things away. At first I tried one on my 2009 FLHX which only has the one headlight. The night time difference was amazing. My daughter often rides that bike while I ride my 2003 FLHTC and since it was such a great improvement I decided to put one on my '03. I thought I could get away with just the headlight, but compared to the brilliant white headlight the passing lamps, er, excuse me, the AUXILIARY lamps looked almost brown. So they got changed too. Now I can't afford any other improvements for a while but I can sure as hell see where I'm going and you can see me coming. September 12, 2014

Which one has the widest pool of light and which one projects down the road farther? I am willing to pay the higher price for the Daymaker if it is better than the Daymaker Refelector.

Answer:
So basically, one isn't better than the other they're just different. The reflective gives a more old school headlamp look. They also vary in how they distribute the light. The reflector's low beam creates a wide pool and the high beam shoots the light in the middle of the road. Whereas the original daymaker has the D-shaped lenses that create the pool of surrounding light, low beam shoots the light straight ahead and high beam directs additional light down the center of the road.

I installed this light tonight. My question is, there are two sets of wires coming from the headlamp, the main wire and a wire with a light blue end. I have a 2012 Ultra Classic Electric Glide and I noticed after taking halogen light off and unplugging it that there was another smaller wire with a red end cap attached to the main wiring harness for the head lamp. Is the red cap wire suppose to plug into the light blue wire on the headlamp? Thank you for your help and support.

Answer:
The red capped wire is for International bikes only. No need to worry about it, it won't affect the light install at all. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for providing a pic, that really helped!
