Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Clean and Classic Had the original gauge for a few thousand miles, and it was becoming a bit tiring to cycle through to see time, tach, trip, and miles to empty. So pleased with this gauge, especially having a tach needle and the fuel meter. Now, can keep time or trip up alongside the other measurements. The color selection is pretty awesome, especially setting the needle color to contrast with the number color. Appreciated another reviewer including the simple directions to set the colors, better written than the included instructions in the box. A very nice addition to the bike. A bit of a surprise, was not on my immediate list of upgrades, and came after other work was done. Though now that I have it, I cannot imagine riding without it! June 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great add-on, should come with every Harley I swapped out the factory gauge on my Slim S with this guage after 900 miles. What a huge difference, I no longer have to flip through the menu to show the gauge I want, the fuel gauge is a lot more accurate then the needle gauge (that alone is worth it IMO) and being able to set the colors to my liking is a nice touch. Rated 1 out of 5 by ABS warning light stays on if you don't have ABS I installed this on my 2013 Heritage Softail Classic without ABS. The warning light stays on all the time and is very distracting, especially at night. Be Very careful if you use this on a bike without ABS. It is non returnable and I would not have ever bought this if I knew about this issue. May 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to Install - Adds to the bike This was an extremely easy speedo to install and now I can see my fuel level, current gear and fuel range at the same time. Plus it's a major improvement over the stock speedo looks wise. April 29, 2016

I installed this on a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic without ABS. The ABS warning light stays on all the time which is very distracting especially at night. The tech at my local dealer says this is normal but I find that hard to believe due to the bright gold light glaring into my eyes and distracting me at night. Any advise?

Answer:
Finally found a Tech at another dealership that fixed the issue in 5 minutes. On my 2013 Heritage Softail Classic without ABS, the Tech hooked up the ECM to his programmer and told the Speedo My bike did not have ABS. Light went out all is good. After several people gave me bad advise I finally found someone who new what they were doing. Thank you Buckeye Harley!

Answer:
This is due to your bike not having ABS. There is no way to turn off the light. My buddy has the same issue and the dealer stated that's the issue.

Trip B reset

I just installed this speedo on my 2016 Heritage Softail. I have everything working as expected but it seems that I can't reset Trip B.

I didn't see any mention of Trip B not working or not resetable on the tip sheet.

Am I missing something here? Can someone tell me how to reset it and/or if this is a now issue? It is stuck at 31.1, I will take it for a long ride later and see if that is related to the Marrying of the ECM/Bike.

Answer:
Found the answer after reading the Installation/Tip Sheet.

Page 3 under Notes States:

"The replacement speedometer will become locked to the ECM after 31.1 miles (50km) have been accumulated. The trip B odometer will display the countdown mileage."

After going for a ride more than 31.1 miles the counter reset to 0 and started working as expected.

Answer:
Yes. The unit will sense ambient light sources and dim and brighten as necessary. It's really pretty cool to watch it happen. You can easily see it when driving into a garage.

Copy odometer data

I bought this for an older bike and want to install it on a new one I've just bought. Can I copy the data from the new bike or do I need to buy a new speedometer?

Answer:
If the speedometer was on the old bike for more than 31.5 miles, then it locks on the vin number of that bike. If you transfer it you get a VIN ERR. If you have not installed it, it can be moved easily.
Older bikes may require that you use the data port to link to the speedometer. However on a new bike like 2015, you plug it in on ACC, and everything just simply moves and if flashes OK..
If you have gone over 31.5 miles, you will have to bring it to a dealership. They may be able to help you if you can prove you bought it new as opposed to used. I am unsure of that type of policy or support.
It's designed to be able to be used for a test ride of up to 31.5 miles and is transferrable.
