Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by antenna mounting bracket When you put the antenna on the bracket where it belongs it hits the inside of your flaring on my 2017 limited had to move it all the way to the back half off of the bracket. Will move it to the outside for better reception January 12, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the Money Love my satellite. Decided to install due to one long ride I was on in the mid west in the middle of nowhere and very limited stations. Installed on my 2014 Ultra Limited with no issues. The instructions were easy to follow and like one other post, there is no plastic cover over the pins, the black plastic on mine was permanent and slid right in. I put the antenna under the fairing to see what kind of reception I got and I have had no issues yet. If I end up with issues I will mount behind the windscreen like some have done. Total time of total install was 30 minutes. December 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Might just be worth the cost. I enjoy Siriusxm satellite radio in my cage and thought I'd like it on my Limited. Yeah, it is pricey, but if I don't spend the money, my wife and her next husband will. Installation was easy, but there is no plastic cover over the module pins, so don't try to pull it off. I did the factory recommended install inside the faring on the kit's bracket and get two to three bars for reception. Go figure. There is something about just listening to your bike, but the radio does add a bit to a long ride. September 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by XM Radio Kit I enjoyed installing this in my 2016 Street Glide Special. The instructions were well done and the installation was fairly straightforward. In my opinion, you can install this yourself without having a lot of experience. June 2, 2016

Outside antenna mount

I see a lot of comments regarding outside mount of the antenna next to the vent. Wondering how you mounted it there. Velcro? Thanks

Answer:
The antenna is already supplied with the 3M adhesive trim tape just clean the area with the supplied alcohol wipe. I used a small drill bit to notch the plastic so the antenna cable would not be pinched when I put the front faring panel back on. It looks like there is a button on the right side when you are done and not noticeable at all. I get fairly good reception and I live in the mountains of east Tennessee but you will still have issues at times but it is tolerable. I added a picture of the antenna with it mounted it was dark so this was the best picture I could get for you.

Answer:
Dear DBrandy100...I read all the multiple suggestions on the best location for the SiriusXM and believe all to have a plausible solution for thier particular situations and locations. I installed my antenna strictly by the SERVICE MANUAL. My antenna is located inside the batwing. There is a special mount included with the unit for the antenna to sit (as per the instructions ) on a mount with Velcro. This setup works well for me for my reasons and my reasons alone: 1. I do not like to advertise the antenna 2. My riding area is very conducive to clear signals. I ride in NM, TX, AZ, CO, and Nevada. These areas rarely have loss of signal and the pathway to clear skys is very evident, even at high elevation. SE and NE areas of the country have much more anomalies that can hinder the signal so therefore the exposed mounting would be conducive to those areas. Go to your dealership and make a point to engage in a conversation with others that have the radio installed and get their prospective for your area. If you are a coast to coast person with a titanium seat, the exposed mounting would be the best option for continued contact with music and also the special safety traffic and weather broadcast that make this system a must have. Hope this helps.

Answer:
Velcro is the way to go with an outside mount. I have changed mine and it is now on top of the left radio speaker inside the fairing, also with Velcro. Works good and do not have to worry about someone damaging it.

Answer:
I see no reason it should not because the radio is the same as the Street Glide Special from 2015. I will say I am not thrilled with the weather radar because of the way the map is colored. The map is a greenish brown color and the radar map is green so it makes it hard to read. It is also very slow to update when I start the bike it takes about 5 minutes to update sometimes. this also supports fuel prices at nearby stations but does not support movie times like some cars do.

Answer:
Hi SoldierX,

The 2015 CVO Street Glide is not listed in the fitment for this Boom! Audio SiriusXM Satellite Radio Kit, because it comes stock on the 2015 CVO Street Glide. In fact, the Boom! Audio SiriusXM Satellite Radio Kit currently comes stock on all CVO models that have the Boom!™ Box 6.5GT audio system.

Thank you for your question
