    Footpegs and shifter peg
Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fits great with a little work for a 5'11'' rider. Tried further forward mid control but was not enough. I am 5'11'' and in my 50's knees dont' bend like they used to.This kit was easy to install. Stock foot pegs did not fit since one leg of new peg mounts was longer and holes for clevis pin did not line up. had to die grind less than an 1/8th from one side of stock foot pegs and touch up with 2 coats of gloss black. No big deal! Look at it before you drop cash on new foot pegs. Some adjustment to shifter linkage to minimize clunk. Made my 2014 Iron 883 so much better. April 28, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks And Feels Great I installed these on my 2014 Iron. Definitely worth it. Makes the ride much more comfortable when going long distances. Install was pretty easy. The only issue I found with these is the mounting pegs for the foot pegs. Stock pegs will not work so I bought the black diamond foot pegs. There was still issues with the fitment due to the one side of the bracket being longer for some reason. I had to grind the longer side down to get the pegs to fit properly. Other than that, I would recommend this product. April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! I have a 2015 883 superlow. I am a 41 year old male. The forward controls are great quality, look awesome and making riding so much more enjoyable. I DID NOT HAVE TO BUY ADDITION PEGS! I was able to use stock foot pegs and shifter peg with my new forward controls. I have tools but not much mechanical experience. I removed my exhaust to make room for installing forward controls. Pay attention to removal of each piece and take pictures of each step as you go. You will need SAE hex sockets, adjustable wrench, flat head screw driver, 1/2 in and 9/16 sockets and a few nut drivers. A set of snap ring pliers and torque wrench would also be great. Not having a clue what was doing it took 5 hrs to do the job. Now I could do it in 2 or 3. If you want passenger pegs put them on while you have exhaust off. You will need star sockets for that. Be care not to strip the star heads.I recommend taking off stock controls and install forward controls as close together as possible. This will make remembering how parts go back on your bike easier. Rated 5 out of 5 by Missing part from the picture Hello, Please be aware that the circled part from my attachement is not supplied. In my case I could save it from the previous, mid control, set up. As for the ride, it is a beauty. Don't hesitate to take it, especially if you are a tall/long legs person. Al the best, Felipe August 4, 2014

Hi jlange101,

Yes, the shift lever (34723-10) can be purchased separately. As for the brake linkage, this can be purchased through a local dealer.

I've ordered two different pairs of footpegs and shifter pegs that don't fit. Does anyone know an exact pair with a product number?

Answer:
I tried the two listed by the Harley team on here and they don't fit. It looks like you need the ones from the newer 48 models that fit the offset clevis.

Answer:
I just had this problem . The stock foot pegs off of a 2011 883 sportster super low will fit nicely. I had takeoffs. What we found is that any peg with a step down mount will fit . Not a regular mount , The upper ear on the new peg mount is about 1/4" longer than the original one.

Answer:
NO !! The stock pegs do not work.....The peg holder bracket changed in 2014 but they send you 2013 instructions that say they will. Expect to spend an additional $100 on pegs when purchasing these. Almost every foot peg with a wear peg on it will fit, best to take the chrome piece to Harley to get the correct peg.
