Batwing Mini-Ape Handlebar is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from batwing mini ape 2015 ultra The bars fit without having to do the cables and brake lines which is a Big plus but the pull back on the bars are to straight. The height is fine. Im 6' 1". The bars look great its just that pullback is to straight. I did use the wire extensions though. The dealer told me i would need new cables and brake lines so i bought them up front. He told me he would take them back. We'll see when i take them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed mod As a taller guy, i felt like i was leaning down onto the bars. With these, bars are now at my shoulder height and provided much more comfort for longer rides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look, much more comfortable The mini apes are tough to install but totally doable. It took me about a day and a half to install them. I could probably do it again in about three hours though. I highly recommend the mini apes they are much more comfortable on long rides and look great.

Would I only need the twist grip sensor kit and the fairing plugs to install these bars on a 2013 flhx without having to reroute anything?

Asked by: Carlstad04
The baby apes are designed for internal wiring. It isn't hard at all to reroute the wires and it looks tons better.

Why BATWING MINI-APE HANDLEBAR not fit on CVO StreetGlide 2015 without heated handgrip

My bike is HDI 2015 CVO Street Glide (without heated handgrip), why BATWING MINI-APE HANDLEBAR 57474-11 can't fit on CVO models?
Asked by: HellRide

Why can't heated grips be used with these bars?

Are the wires from heated grips not long enough, and it is not a direct fit, and some cutting and splicing would be needed?
Asked by: dtflick
Unfortunately these bars won't work for heated hand grips because they are internally wired. Any of our internally wired bars won't work with heated hand grips.

do i need to change cables, brake lines, or extend wires for a 2013 flhtcu

the guys at the dealership where i bought my bike and these bars have told me i could use my existing factory cables and lines. just wondering if it is just as simple as a little bit of rerouting in behind the fairing to pull this off without installing new hardware and can all the wiring be run inside the bars without lengthening the wiring
Asked by: squizz21
Hello Squizz21, We do not recomend using the stock cables and lines. See the link below for the chart of items you need and part numbers. Thank you!
