Turn signal module and red turn signal lenses
Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great upgrade As other reviewers have stated, should be original equipment. Very easy and quick install. Get it and maximize your safety/ visibility. October 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent for safety, looks, and easy install This is the second kit I purchase. I have one for my 2013 Fat Bob and just got another for a 2002 XL 883R Sportster that had smoked lenses. Looks, the all reds on the back-end look better than red/amber or red/smoke in my opinion. It looks like it was meant to be that way. Installation - Literally a snap. Take off the seat, disconnect wires, connect this harness in between. Snap on and off lenses. Operation - The only thing I have noticed is that after cancelling the turn signal, that lamp remains off for a few seconds before resuming as a running light. Safety - All reds lighting up on the back end is really noticeable, not to mention the all red running lights. On my commute to work in the summer, someone with a Dyna has all reds in the rear, and it stands out on the road and looks cool. April 2, 2016

I purchased the Auxiliary Brake/Running/Turn Signal Conversion Kit, with aftermarket LED Lights (purchased all components for a local Harley dealership), and the right rear LED did not light. I placed it into the left signal, and it light up. I measured the voltage at the right base and measured -6.8VDC, the left base voltage measured +6.8VDC. I know LEDs must be biased properly to light. Any ideas? I removed the Conversion Kit, and the measurements remained the same; right = -6.8VDC and the left +6.8VDC.

The instructions for this kit don't say anything about the bulbs themselves. If this kit is designed for changing from single intensity (1156# to dual intensity function #1157) - is it still compatible with single intensity bulbs that are already on the bikes? It seems to assume the same original housing which wouldn't be compatible with dual intensity bulbs.

Answer:
I wondered the same thing until I did the install. I used the existing bulbs (1156) and it seems that the module is regulating the bulb intensity; low for running and intensify when flashing.

Hey Osvaldo. I can only tell you what they can do. Can't really tell you how to workaround them. You may want to check in with your dealer for help with this one.

Does this work on European bike?

I wonder if this kit will work on a European bike (5HD....)
My turn signals are 21 watt bulbs, I don't know what US bikes have.
Thanks in advance for a reply.
