Original Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Flags

Experienced riders know that motorcycle flags serve a purpose that goes beyond adding flair. While it is true that motorcycle flags are more likely to be installed for the tailgate crowd, there are convenience factors to consider as well.

Installing a Motorcycle Flag Pole

The Harley-Davidson accessory packages needed to install flags include a motorcycle flag mount, a saddlebag, a Tour-Pak carrier shell, and a sissy bar. In addition to the motorcycle flag mount, each kit includes a motorcycle flag pole. It is important to note that original Harley-Davidson flag kits are for parade purposes; they are not rated for high-speed use since those flags require different mounting hardware.

Other Harley Decorative Items

Flags and ride bells are among the most popular outdoor and tailgate items installed by Harley owners. Original flags include the stars and bars, POW/MIA, Wounded Warrior Project, and the 120th anniversary of Harley-Davidson as an all-American brand. Each flag is made with highly durable polyester fabric. In addition, the advanced printing technique prevents premature fading often caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. As for the bells, the designs range from the Harley shield and logo as well as the American flag-themed #1 logo that was popular in the 20th century as a celebration of the 1969 AMA Grand National Championship. Some original bells are not shaped like bells at all; they resemble skulls and even leather motorcycle jackets. Shop the Harley website for flags, flag poles, and flag mounts.
