Hand controls on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle are incredibly intuitive. The turn signals are self-canceling and, based on the speed and angle of the motorcycle, they know how long to stay on. Engaging the controls quickly becomes second nature so you can focus less on turning off your signal and more on basking in the freedom of the ride.
How do you measure the value of a Harley-Davidson?
Every step taken with precision. Every part a masterpiece.
It's the way we design them. It's the way we build them. Riding a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle is unlike riding any other bike because of our attention to detail.

V-Twin 103 Engine
The air cooled Twin Cam 103™ engine delivers more stump pulling torque, while its Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection jetting gives crisp, lively throttle reaction. It's a performance punch that you'll appreciate when passing, climbing hills, or rolling with packed luggage or a passenger in back—all under that signature Motor Company rumble. Now standard on 2012 Touring, Softail® and select Dyna® bikes.
-
Frame and Swingarm
In 2009 the Touring chassis got overhauled. A single-spar rigid backbone frame replaced bent tubing and stamped parts. Now built with a highly precise robotic welding process and intelligent use of forgings, the frame uses half the parts and requires 50% less total weld length, giving it a stronger backbone for a stronger rider-motorcycle connection.
