• V-Twin 103 Engine

  The air cooled Twin Cam 103^™ engine delivers more stump pulling torque, while its Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection jetting gives crisp, lively throttle reaction. It's a performance punch that you'll appreciate when passing, climbing hills, or rolling with packed luggage or a passenger in back—all under that signature Motor Company rumble. Now standard on 2012 Touring, Softail^® and select Dyna^® bikes.

• Frame and Swingarm

  In 2009 the Touring chassis got overhauled. A single-spar rigid backbone frame replaced bent tubing and stamped parts. Now built with a highly precise robotic welding process and intelligent use of forgings, the frame uses half the parts and requires 50% less total weld length, giving it a stronger backbone for a stronger rider-motorcycle connection.
