Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run
Pre-1930s motorcycles that lay silent for decades now have a reason to live. Reviving a tradition as old as the motorcycles themselves, Cannonball Run riders prove the capabilities of the machines and confirm the pioneering spirit of America by racing across the country as they did nearly a century ago.
This coast-to-coast endurance run on motorcycles built before 1930, will begin in Newburgh, New York and end in San Francisco, California. 75 riders from 12 different countries make up this ride and travel almost 300 miles every day. The Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run will stop at the Harley-Davidson Museum and you will have an opportunity to meet the riders and hear their stories on this epic adventure of man and machine. Visitors will also get to see Cris Sommer Simmons, previous Cannonball Run rider and author of The American Motorcycle Girl’s Cannonball Diary.
