The 2011 Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycles have new features including: new hand controls, a larger odometer, and an anti-lock braking system option. A 1584 cc engine powers each one of these bikes. The Harley-Davidson Softail motorcycles have one of the lowest seat heights of any motorcycle class on the market. The Softail shocks are set in a horizontal position and out of view, giving the motorcycles a rigid suspension look, all the while maintaining the comfort of rear shocks. Adding to every Softail motorcycle's one of a kind look is the unique horseshoe shaped oil tank. Each Softail motorcycle offers something different, from the Fat Boy one of the cruiser motorcycles, Softail Deluxe motorcycle cruiser, Cross Bones custom bobber, the Rocker C chopper, and for one more of the custom Harley motorcycles the Fat Boy Lo.

The Softail ABS package provides a new level of braking consistency and rider confidence while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look by hiding the ABS components into the wheel hub. Keep the rigid ride, and add electronically optimized braking for when conditions are less than optimal—technology without sacrificing Softail style.

H-D® Smart Security System

The factory installed next-generation security system automatically arms and disarms through a hands free fob, which communicates with the security module on an individualized frequency. Switch off the ignition and walk away—the security system shuts down the starter, ignition and fuel injection to keep your ride safe. When you return, the systems are automatically enabled.
