For a quick custom change, the seat with a detachable passenger pillion allows you to quickly go from a solo to a two up ride for a passenger. Unique to this custom Harley Softail Convertible CVO is a digital speedo and analog tach. This high-tech gauge delivers a speedometer that toggles between mph and km/h and a unique perimeter-sweeping tachometer. Its digital, backlit 5-inch face makes for easy readouts, and the design pops with spun metal and color matching accents. The 2011 CVO™ Softail® Convertible is the first-ever Harley-Davidson® bike to feature a keyless ignition. Talk about feeling connected to your machine. For anyone else, it's just a good-looking pile of metal. But it knows you. The ignition switch is gone and you don't even need a key to start your bike.
The system features a hands-free fob that automatically arms the vehicle as you walk away from the bike. And when you get back, the system is disabled before you can swing your leg over and flip the switch to start it. It's all automatic. It just happens for you. And since the bike takes care of itself, we replaced the ignition switch with an eye-catching, back-lit medallion that glows red with the distinctive Custom Vehicle Operations™ logo.
