ESCUELA DE CAPACITACIÓN TÉCNICA EN MOTOCICLETAS PARA POLICÍAS H-D
Harley-Davidson Motor Company will continue to provide technical training to law enforcement agencies this year. Classes will be conducted at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando, FL, and Milwaukee, WI. All classes are taught in English.
We are pleased to be working closely with MMI and our own Harley-Davidson University to bring the best possible training to technicians and officers regularly employed by those law enforcement agencies using Harley-Davidson Police Motorcycles. Course curriculums have been designed to bring the content of Police Technical Training classes closer to the professional Harley-Davidson training received by dealership technicians. Students will be evaluated on their ability to perform the required procedures.
Courses are structured and it is recommended that students attend classes in the following order:
Police A - Vehicle Maintenance (No Prerequisite)
Police D - Electrical Diagnostics (Requires previous attendance in Police A)
Police F - Chassis Set-up/ABS (Requires previous attendance in Police A & D)
Police B - Power Train Service (Requires previous attendance in Police A, D & F)
Police E - Engine Management Systems (Requires previous attendance in Police A, D, F & B)
Each class is limited to a maximum of 12 students; we reserve the right to cancel classes if enrollment does not meet our minimum of 6 students. A "verification letter" will be mailed when your enrollment application is received. A "confirmation letter" will be sent when enrollment meets our minimum.
