Custom culture lives at the Harley-Davidson Museum.® Don’t miss the biggest party of the summer over Labor Day Weekend, as the Museum hosts its annual Custom Bike Show. In addition to hosting two custom bike shows, the Museum is one of the first places to see the new 2016 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles at the new product trailer, enjoy the works of custom culture artisans, and visit the special summer exhibit, Willie G. Davidson: Artist, Designer, Leader, Legend before it closes on September 7. That’s not all; the weekend is packed with live entertainment, and lots of great
food and drink.
The Milwaukee Rally officially kicks off on Thursday, September 3, at Bike Night. All bikes unite at the Harley-Davidson Museum® to kick off the biggest party Labor Day weekend. Grab your bike. Join other riders for music, fun and plenty of eye candy.
Museum Members: Be sure to join us at Custom Bike Show on Sunday, September 6 when one lucky member will receive the key to a new 2015 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy® motorcycle. On Sunday, Museum Members also receive 20% off all purchases at The Shop.

Stop by the Project Livewire™ Experience, where you can get a look at the machine and the story of innovation at Harley-Davidson. And, if you don’t ride, hop on Jumpstart™ – a simulated riding experience to ride the bike. The experience also includes a display featuring innovation in FXRG riding gear and interactive Avengers movie display, featuring an actual bike from the movie customers can sit on. Custom Culture Artisans
Witness the artisans craft and purchase art at “Artisan Alley” on 5thand Seeboth Streets.
Featured artists include:
Kendall Polster, better known as "Weld Guy", offers his unique skills of welding metal. He makes everything from furniture pieces to life-sized sculptures and is always open to new creative ideas.
Check out one of the finest leather artists and designers in the country, Howard Knight, in action and also purchase some of his unique pieces.
Pinstripe Legends is a group of accomplished artists dedicated to expanding the recognition of pinstriping as a fine art form. Stop by and see them at work as they create live pinstriping art in front of an audience. Bring your leather boots, belts, purse and bike and have them pinstriped at the Museum.
Ed Tillrock showcases his unique talent through his motorcycle and architectural sketches. His artwork will be performed live and also available for purchase.
Using a large variety of mediums such as watercolors, graphic design and textiles, Kayla Keoune creates her motorcycle-themed artwork live for guests at Milwaukee Rally. Also some of her artwork will be on sale for guests to purchase.
Dick Cooling's unique sculptures all containing at least one sparkplug earned him the nickname "Spark Plug Guy”. See him weld his sculptures live and purchase some of his pieces.
Factory Tours & Demo Rides
Just up the highway from the H-D Museum, you will be able to take a demo ride on the 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycles and take a self-guided tour of the Pilgrim Road Powertrain Operations facility.
