Harley-Davidson riders show their philanthropic support for the Boy Scouts by participating in a benefit scramble.
Harley-Davidson put on a good showing at the Boy Scout Benefit Scramble on November 9 in Fallston Maryland. Competitiors representing six different states showed up to the scramble to race their motorcycles and raise monies for the Boyscout summer camp fund. There were four different race classes and racers on Harley-Davidsons put on quite a showing. Oscar Franklin took 2nd place on his H-D in the 1st class; Harry Volkmar took 1st, Charles Volkmar took 2nd, and Cliff Willever took 3rd, all on H-D models in the 2nd class race.
