DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

IS HOW WE ROLL

Diversity is the engine that powers our success, providing a wealth of talent, experience and perspective that enriches everything we do. From our workforce, to our supply base, to our legions of loyal riders, diversity takes us to the next horizon.

DIVERSITY

WORKPLACE DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Different points of view, all watching asphalt fly by.

Steel is strong because it's made from a combination of elements like iron, carbon and nickel. Likewise, we are strong because our employees come from many different backgrounds and brings ideas, perspectives and experiences that are unbreakable. We like to say we have a workplace where employees can bring their “whole best self to work".

THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF OUR ORGANIZATION

Local Diversity Councils and Business and Employee Resource Groups Our Employees and Partners know how to drive. Everyday our employees, through our local diversity councils and Business and Employee Resource Groups (BERG's) are leading programs across the business and the globe to ensure that diversity and inclusion are in the bricks.

Our National Partnerships:

Harley-Davidson is proud to support national organizations which are dedicated to promoting diversity in the workplace such as:

  • National Society of Hispanic MBA

SUPPLIER DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

We believe in revving-up opportunity every chance we get. That's why working with minority and female-owned companies is part of our business strategy.

Increasing our business with minority and women-owned companies' means: Allocating resources to support procurement decisions. Training our employees to actively cultivate productive relationships with diverse businesses. Partnering with diverse organizations to get the message out. It means creating supplier diversity traction so results happen.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Full Throttle know-how

Through our partnership with local and national organizations, Harley-Davidson provides scholarships to minority and female executives seeking to enhance their business management expertise. Scholarship recipients attend intensive educational programs conducted at some of the nation's most distinguished institutions.

The programs combine business theory along with practical application and offer opportunities to learn from fellow entrepreneurs and top educators.

SUPPLIER DIVERSITY PROGRAM

Two wheels, two fenders, two mirrors, two foot pegs. And so on. Building Harley-Davidson ® motorcycles takes two. In more ways than one. That’s why we’re looking for partners who can supply innovative solutions to help us get our bikes on the road.
