Tchernavia Rocker is Vice President of Human Resources for Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
She is responsible for supervising approximately 200 human resources employees worldwide and guiding company-wide leadership development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and diversity.
Rocker, who joined the company in 2001, has served Harley-Davidson in various HR leadership roles including strategic HR planning, HRIS, employee relations, labor relations, talent management, training, organizational development, change management, performance management, diversity, safety, security and occupational health. Her previous experience includes various HR and operations leadership roles within Goodyear Dunlop North America Tire Inc., as well as experience in healthcare and scientific research with various other organizations.
She previously served on the boards of the Urban Economic Development Association, Progressive Community Health Centers, the Crispus Attucks Center and the South George Street Community Partnership. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Next Door Foundation and Mount Mary University in Milwaukee. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Black MBA Association.
Rocker has been honored by various organizations and media outlets for her outstanding professional contributions and community involvement, such as Ebony Magazine and Milwaukee 40 under 40.
She holds a nursing degree from the University of Alabama Huntsville and an MBA from Alabama A&M University. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
