Harley-Davidson unleashes two more powerhouse motorcycles for 2016

Harley-Davidson has announced two new additions to its 2016 motorcycle line-up. The first is the new and very exclusive CVO™ Pro Street Breakout® and the other new model is the performance inspired Low Rider® S. Both motorcycles will be available from authorised Harley-Davidson dealers from March 2016. Keep your eyes peeled for further information on the dates when dealers will be announcing their arrival.

The introduction of the limited edition CVO Pro Street Breakout motorcycle brings another enticing Softail® performance machine combined with a long, muscular look that’s pure American street machine.

With its Air-cooled, Screamin’ Eagle®, Twin Cam 110B™ engine, the Pro Street Breakout is not going to be lacking when it comes to the proverbial “get up and go”. Harley-Davidson claims 111.4 ft-lb @3500rpm is produced by the 1801cc blacked out engine. Allied to the 6-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission with Isolated Drive System (IDS), this will make for a smooth power delivery.

The black detail theme carries through the rest of the Pro Street Breakout to give an astonishing low-slung muscular stance. This is underlined with the fitment of a race-inspired, color-matched speed screen fairing and chin spoiler. Nestled within this wind-cheater screen is a black LED headlamp. The rest of the ancillaries match, too, in the form of a blacked-out Airflow Collection consisting of rider and passenger footboard inserts, shifter pegs, brake pedal, grips and more.

A new race-inspired bucket seat with bolstered pillion sits neatly with seriously cool Scorched Chrome Aggressor custom wheels. New high-end custom paint scheme with hand-applied graphics in two color combinations is topped off with CVO™ model badging.

The new CVO Pro Street Breakout will appear in limited quantity at UK authorised Harley-Davidson dealerships in March. Price for this undeniably classic Harley powerhouse in CVO guise is £19,995 and is sure to be a quick mover.

The New Low Rider® S becomes the third member of Harley-Davidson’s S Series cruiser lineup – bikes designed to deliver maximum performance. The Low Rider S is, of course, no exception to this rule because it is endowed with the impressive Screamin’ Eagle® Twin Cam 110™ engine.

As you will see, the Low Rider S cruiser is also big on head-turning style and quality chassis components and, in the case of the dual-disc front brakes with ABS, these two desirable attributes come together as one feature. The same can also be said for the ride quality and looks of the 49 mm single cartridge front suspension and emulsion rear shocks that feature enhanced compression and rebound damping control.

Add to the mix the Wrinkle Black console featuring speedometer and tachometer with Black trim rings, and Magnum Gold, Split 5-Spoke cast aluminum wheels – all part of the usual Harley detailing – and the new Low Rider S is one sweet package for just £14,995.

The limited edition Low Rider S will also be available from UK authorised Harley-Davidson dealerships in March. Keep your eyes peeled for further dealer details of when these two bikes can be seen in the flesh, and go online to www.h-d.com/motorcycles to check out the range.
