Oxford (07 March 2013) -
At the end of May, more than 30,000 motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to descend on Killarney for the seventh annual Ireland Bike Fest. And, as 2013 marks Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever!
With its fun festival atmosphere and a traditional Irish “craic”, the Ireland Bike Fest event has become a firm fixture on the Harley-Davidson® events calendar. From 31 May-3 June, visitors to the show will be treated to a host of activities and attractions, including a custom bike show, mass ride-out and a Bike Village complete with live music acts, Harley-Davidson dealer stands, H.O.G. hospitality and a jam-packed trader area.
If you’re looking to explore more of what the Emerald Isle has to offer, don’t forget to register to take part in one of the daily guided tours of the Ring of Kerry or to the Dingle Peninsula or pick up information on self-guided tours of the area. Bike Fest is located on the southwest tip of Ireland, among the picturesque lush and rolling landscapes of County Kerry. Bike-friendly roads make exploring the region a must; from the serene Lakes, to the surrounding mountains and dramatic coastline.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to win a brand new Harley-Davidson® motorcycle with a donation to Bike Fest’s chosen charity, Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.
Bike Fest is free to attend for all motorcycle enthusiasts, and with a host of kids’ attractions, the event is guaranteed to be a true family affair. Both on-site and off-site accommodation is available through www.irelandbikefest.com, but you’ll need to be quick as rooms are in high demand!
